Chamber to Host "Back to Business 2009" Series |

CHAMBER TO HOST “BACK TO BUSINESS 2009” SERIES
Events will provide Valley Entrepreneurs education and guidance
(PHOENIX) – The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce (GPCC) is helping businesses shift their focus from the bad news of 2008 to the opportunities of 2009, by offering a series designed to provide Valley business owners with solutions to critical business issues. The events will take place in a variety of locations and also online via webinars.
Mentor Match, a unique event where Valley entrepreneurs learned about the many mentoring programs available for their businesses, occurred today. Attendees learned about each program’s different requirements. The following four programs were highlighted:
- Academy for the Advancement of Small, Minority and Women Owned Enterprises (AAAME) offered by APS
- AthenaPowerlink offered by the GPCC
- Phoenix Mentoring Program offered by the NAWBO
- T.I.M.E offered by ASBA
Mentor Match kicked off the four part series. The upcoming events include:

“The Back to Business 2009 series is for Valley entrepreneurs who have made a New Year’s Resolution to improve their bottom line in 2009.” commented Katie Pushor, president and CEO, Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. “This series provides viable solutions to the critical issues Valley business are facing.”
